About Us
Perceive Now is an AI-native insights platform focused on turning complex data—across markets, technology, and IP—into actionable strategic clarity. Our clients include top-tier investors, corporate strategy teams, and innovation leaders seeking fast, data-backed decisions. We combine proprietary models with a human-in-the-loop approach to power the next generation of market research.
As we grow, we're seeking a technically fluent, analytically sharp Business Analyst to drive intelligence workflows across predictive modeling, AI research, and strategic enablement. This role supports data-driven decision-making across our market research and AI-powered product development teams. You'll lead insight generation, competitive intelligence, and analytical frameworks that shape our IP, investment, and market entry strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and technology research using structured data (e.g., PitchBook, Statista, CB Insights) and unstructured sources (e.g., whitepapers, press releases, technical blogs) to track industry trends, competitor strategies, and innovation signals.
- Use AI models and natural language processing tools (e.g., OpenAI APIs, LangChain, RAG stacks) to extract and summarize insights from patent filings, earnings transcripts, and long-form research reports.
- Build and tune forecasting models using Python libraries like Prophet and XGBoost to predict market adoption curves, investment patterns, and technology readiness.
- Create dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, Plotly, Dash, or Altair to communicate strategic KPIs, cost trends, and opportunity heatmaps for internal and client-facing use.
- Design scoring matrices, SWOT-style assessments, and feasibility models to evaluate product-market fit, commercialization potential, and investment risk.
- Map technology evolution and emerging themes using semantic clustering tools (e.g., BERTopic) and knowledge graphs (e.g., Neo4j) to surface whitespace opportunities.
- Develop and deliver standard and custom reports by integrating AI-assisted summaries with financial, technical, and strategic data from both public and proprietary sources.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align research insights with roadmap development, market entry strategies, and business objectives.
- Automate research pipelines using tools like Airflow, Docker, and Python scripts to manage data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across internal workflows.
- Integrate insights into operational systems such as CRMs, BI dashboards, and project management platforms (e.g., JIRA, Notion), ensuring findings are accessible and actionable.
- Participate in requirements documentation, QA coordination, and rollout tracking to ensure research outputs are accurately implemented across internal platforms and external deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated expertise in market research, trend forecasting, and competitive intelligence.
- Strong working knowledge of Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Dash, Plotly).
- Proficient in using platforms like CB Insights, PitchBook, Crunchbase, Statista, and similar databases for industry research.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools, ETL pipelines, and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with business analysis frameworks such as SWOT, PESTLE, Kano Model, and risk matrices.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG stacks, and AI tools (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI) for summarization and insight extraction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for crafting executive briefs and stakeholder presentations.
